-Conversion of Parcel Information Critical to Improving the Accuracy of Location-based Solutions -

SANTA ANA, Calif., Mar. 10, 2008 - The CoreLogic Corporation (NYSE: FAF), America's largest provider of business information, announced today that its CoreLogic Spatial Solutions (FASS) division has converted over 80 million parcels with geocoded points as part of an ongoing effort to create a national parcel database. This database includes digitally converted parcel information for over 1200 counties and townships in the United States.  These counties represent some of the largest populated areas in the United States.  FASS is currently making this dataset available as part of its ParcelPointTM technology solution.

"The GIS space is evolving with the trend toward using parcels in geographic location technology clearly on the rise.  Parcel information is one of the best ways to improve the accuracy of location-based applications and analytical solutions," said David Sonnen, an analyst at Interactive Data Corp (IDC). "CoreLogic has put a lot of effort into building a national parcel database and the ability to assign latitude and longitude coordinates allows for precise positional accuracy. Reaching the 80 million mark is good not only for the company, but to the industry, as a whole, as CoreLogic moves towards providing national coverage."

CoreLogic Spatial Solutions' goal is to expand its database to include 110 million parcels by the end of 2008. This would include approximately 80 percent of the entire country. The company also intends to maintain this database by updating the parcels on a regularly scheduled basis. The parcel database is currently available to a variety of industries including insurance, oil and gas, real estate and telecommunications. By combining parcel data with CoreLogic's vast data resources, industries are more capable of accurately locating properties for asset management and property-level risk assessment.

CoreLogic also recently announced the acquisition of Proxix Solutions and its PxPoint geocoder, which uses parcel data to provide the country with the most accurate geocoding solution available.  PxPoint is a high-precision, parcel-level geocoding and spatial analytic engine, utilizing multiple datasets such as U.S. parcel boundaries to deliver the highest level of positional accuracy.

"While today's geocoding technology typically uses address ranges rather than specific property data to identify properties, PxPoint provides the next level of accuracy by returning back a precise latitude and longitude for a location based on the parcel information," said Scott Little, executive vice president for CoreLogic Spatial Solutions.   "When paired with CoreLogic's ParcelPointTM technology, user's get the one-two punch of a next generation geocoder with the nation's most comprehensive database of parcel information."  The combined solutions will be available in the second quarter of 2008.
