Understand Florida Sinkhole Risk

Florida leads the nation in the number of sinkholes and sinkhole insurance claims. In an effort to assist Florida insurers, CoreLogic maintains a Florida Sinkhole database that provides the necessary information insurers need to accurately assess a policy's location for sinkhole risk.  Going beyond simply illustrating existing sinkhole location, CoreLogic's scientists model detailed geographic and geological data including bedrock geology, elevation, and surface materials (soils) to determine the relative potential for sinkhole loss.

Integrated into CoreLogic's insurance solution CATUM, the Florida Sinkhole database enables customers to accurately locate and assess insured properties for sinkhole risks.
